A lawyer and graduate of the University of Warsaw, she is an expert on legal aspects of nature conservation in Poland and Europe. She serves as the Head of the Nature Conservation Program at the ClientEarth Lawyers for the Earth Foundation, an international legal organization dedicated to environmental protection. She manages a legal team focused on protecting terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems as well as protected species in Poland and across Europe. She has participated in international summits organized by UNESCO, the Convention on Biological Diversity, and the Bern Convention. She is also a co-author of the book “Białek Księgi Polskich Rzek: Lessons from the Oder River Catastrophe,” which highlights what is not working in the river management and monitoring system in Poland and suggests legal and practical changes needed. Additionally, she co-authored the report “Polish National Parks: Why Hasn’t a National Park Been Established in Poland for 20 Years and How to Change It?”
