Wodne Sprawy (Water Matters)

A hydrologist and expert in water management and environmental protection, professionally involved in the sector for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Agriculture in Kraków, specialising in water management. She has worked in public administration and the private sector, serving, among other roles, as project manager for key planning and programme documents related to water management in Poland. For 16 years, she has been the President of Pectore-Eco, a consulting company providing services in the field of water management and the environment.

She is the originator and editor-in-chief of Wodne Sprawy, the first water-focused magazine in Poland, where she translates the sector’s specialised language into communication accessible to a wide audience. A member of national and international committees and working groups, and author of more than one hundred publications on water management, climate change, and the implementation of EU law. She is also the author of the children’s book Why Do Beavers Build Dams?, which helps foster awareness of the world of water from an early age.
