
Anna Czyżewska

Deputy Director of the Department for Water Protection and Climate Adaptation – National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology – Faculty of Sanitary and Water Engineering, specializing in environmental engineering.
She began her professional career at the Municipal Construction Projects Bureau “STOLICA,” which later became “STOLICA CONSULTING, Sp. z o.o.” in 1991, advancing to the position of designer after obtaining qualifications for independent roles in construction. At the STOLICA Bureau, she was involved in projects related to water and wastewater management, particularly for the Warsaw metropolitan area.
Since 1994, she has been employed at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, most recently holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department for Water Protection and Climate Adaptation.
From 2004 to 2007, she served as a Member of the Management Board of MPWiK in Warsaw, S.A., and as the Authorized Representative for the Implementation of the Project (MAO), co-financed by the Cohesion Fund, “Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment in Warsaw” I, II, III phases, which included the implementation of the Czajka wastewater treatment plant.
