A graduate of the Environmental Engineering and Geodesy department of the Agricultural University in Wrocław (now the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław).

She was awarded the title of doctor of technical sciences in the field of environmental engineering in 2005 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Wrocław University of Technology. Her doctoral thesis on research on the application of geotextiles to counteract colmatations in the process of infiltration has received a distinction.
