
Jacek Sobkowiak

Jacek Sobkowiak, a graduate of master’s studies at Poznań University of Technology in the field of Environmental Engineering. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Trent University Nottingham and Wielkopolska Business School at the Poznań University of Economics. He also completed a Management of Corporate Resources program at IMD in Lausanne.
Years of study and work have allowed Jacek Sobkowiak to develop his professional career. He gained experience by managing construction projects, and later by designing sanitary installations and networks, as well as supervising construction projects.
For several years, he has been associated with Wavin Polska S.A., where he rose to the position of President of the Management Board and Director for Central and Eastern Europe, overseeing the group’s activities in 9 countries. For nearly 4 years, he worked in Prague, Czech Republic, as the President of the Management Board of Wavin Ekoplastik.
For the past few years, he has been associated with the Aquanet Capital Group as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aquanet Laboratorium, Vice President of Terlan Management Board, President of Mycela SA Management Board, and since May 2022, he has been serving as the President of the Management Board of Tormel, the main contractor of the Centrum Program in Poznań.
Among his hobbies, he enjoys sailing, diving, and ballroom dancing. He is one of the first members of Mensa International in Poland.
His key skills include strategic planning and the ability to identify key factors.
