Prof. Jadwiga Królikowska

A graduate of the Sanitary and Water Engineering department at Cracow University of Technology. She received the PhD degree in technical sciences in 1997 on the basis of the dissertation entitled “Reliability of sewage siphons”. She received the postdoctoral degree in technical sciences in the field of environmental engineering in 2011 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology on the basis of the dissertation entitled “Reliability of the functioning and safety of the sewage network”. Since 2012, she has been employed as an Associate Professor at the Cracow University of Technology in the Department of Water Supply, Sewage and Environmental Monitoring. The area and range of scientific interests includes the functioning and safety of sewage systems (conventional, unconventional), rainwater management, reduction of negative effects of rainwater on the receiver. The effect of interest in the issues of sustainable management of rainwater was, among others, research project, financed by the former KBN, whose main objective was to assess the suitability of the hydroseparator, transfer with curved overflow crown and tangential inlet to the overflow, for pre-treatment of rainfall sewage.

She is a co-author of textbook “Rainwater – drainage, development, pretreatment and use” Seidel-Przywecki Publishing House, Warsaw, 2012, awarded with the team prize of the Rector of the Cracow University of Technology.

From 2012 she has been the Dean’s Representative for Education Quality. She’s the Chairwoman of the Organizing Committee of the cyclic Scientific Conference entitled “Reliability and safety in environmental engineering”.
