From the beginning of his work in local government, he has been connected with and engaged in matters concerning the Warsaw section of the Vistula River. He first worked as an inspector and later as a specialist in social communication. As part of the tasks originally carried out within the Marketing Office of the City of Warsaw, since 2015 he has been involved in co-creating, coordinating, and overseeing the educational campaign Dzielnica Wisła, the Warszawski Plażowy project, and outdoor events such as the Vistula Festival, Season Opening, winter activities, Vistula-related civic budget projects, and thematic open-air exhibitions. Throughout his work, he has been pleased to contribute to revitalising and promoting the boulevards and Warsaw’s river beaches, as well as new places on the Dzielnica Wisła map, such as Przystań Warszawa and the Kamień Educational Pavilion.

Since 2020, at the Warsaw Municipal Greenery Authority, he has served as the Mayor’s Plenipotentiary for the Vistula. His key day-to-day responsibilities include cooperation with NGOs within the Sectoral Commission for Social Dialogue, as well as engagement with residents and entrepreneurs. In addition to ongoing tasks related to planning, coordinating promotion, animation, and educational activities on the natural, recreational, and safety aspects of the Warsaw section of the Vistula, he also supports investment projects related to the redevelopment of the surroundings of the Czerniakowski and Żerański Harbours, contributes to the development of Warsaw’s passenger navigation, and takes part in creating and modernising spaces and conditions for cultural, educational, and recreational activities along the river.

He holds a degree in cultural sociology and is interested in social phenomena that shape cities, methods of supporting non-economic spatial activation, and approaches to non-economic revitalisation. What he values most in his professional tasks is their interdisciplinary nature.
