Julia Machado has been working in the water and wastewater industry since 2010.
After obtaining a degree in engineering and business psychology, she dedicated herself to developing sustainable and future-proof solutions for the water sector as a product manager at Wavin.
With her experience in water supply, wastewater disposal, and stormwater management, she is passionate about and drives the idea of holistic, cross-silo water cycle management.

To address some of the major challenges posed by climate change, she is leading Wavin’s collaboration with the Resilient Cities network.
In her role as global product manager focusing on blue-green infrastructure, sustainable buildings and water balance, she is using her knowledge of the water and circular economy to drive innovation in the field of blue, blue-green and blue-solar roofs.
