Since 1999, he has been the President of the Management Board of Aquanet SA. He served as a Member of the University Council of Adam Mickiewicz University during its first term. From 2007 to 2018, he was the Chairman of the Water Management Council for the Warta River Basin. He is a former chairman and member of supervisory boards, including those of H. Cegielski SA and Fasing SA. He is also a former Deputy Chairman of the Poznań City Council and former President of the Chamber of Commerce “Polish Waterworks”.

A graduate of Poznań University of Technology, he holds a postdoctoral degree (doktor habilitowany) in economic sciences in the field of management. He is the author of scientific publications on management and the co-author of books in this area. He has written over 200 articles for industry journals. For more than 10 years, he has been a participant in the international benchmarking project – European Benchmarking Co-operation.
