One of the co-authors of the www.retencja.pl and www.waterfolder.com portals. In the years 2016-2020 he was the scientific director of the project for the development and implementation of the Polish Atlas of Rain Intensity (PANDa). Since 2021, he has been coordinating scientific work in the project POIR.01.01.01-00-0119 / 21: WaterFolder Connect – an integrated platform for designing and modeling drainage systems, co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development.
A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Wrocław University of Technology. He received his PhD in agricultural sciences in the field of environmental management in 2002 at the Faculty of Melioration and Environmental Engineering of the Agricultural University in Wrocław. He obtained the postdoctoral degree of technical sciences in the field of environmental engineering in 2010 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology. He obtained the title of professor of engineering and technical sciences in 2019.
Promoter of 5 completed doctoral theses, numerous master’s and engineering theses. Author and co-author of over 120 scientific publications. A specialist in the field of measurement and processing of rainfall data and hydrodynamic modeling of sewage networks.
