Dr Eng. Arch. Tomasz Majda – Graduate and faculty member of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. President of the Society of Polish Town Planners. Chair of the Municipal Urban Planning and Architecture Commission of the City of Warsaw. Member of the National Urban Planning and Architecture Commission of the Ministry of Development and Technology. Member of the Committee for Urban and Metropolitan Areas and the Legal and Urban Planning Committee of the Committee for Spatial Planning and Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences (KPZK PAN).

Owner of an urban design and spatial planning office; co-author of several dozen local spatial development plans, municipal studies, and programme–spatial concepts for functional areas. Expert on the advisory team for the development strategy of the new district of Nanjing along the Yangtze River with a horizon to 2049, as well as the development plan for 2030. Lecturer in a training programme in Abu Dhabi and at workshops in Shenzhen and Yekaterinburg.
