Research Interests

Since the start of my professional career, I have focused on problems and solutions related to urban runoff and storm water overflow. Particularly on

• Monitoring and Modelling
• Nature Based Solution (NBS) for treatment
• Concepts and Technologies of Blue-Green Infrastructure

Other Professional Activities

Member of numerous committees and working groups of the DWA that develop national rules and standards.

a.o.: Speaker of the Working Group in charge of developing standards on treatment and management of urban runoff and storm water overflow.

Since 2025: Observer for the EWA in the Expert Sub-Group 1 of the Commission.
