Workshop

Our cities, along with their stormwater infrastructure, require significant investments. Therefore, it’s not surprising that funding is consistently of interest to local governments. When you have the opportunity to obtain information about financing and applying for funds for “rainwater” and climate adaptation projects from the Ministry of Environment, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) all in one place and in a short period of time, it truly is an exceptional opportunity. During the training, it is best to obtain information firsthand, ask questions, and clarify any doubts. The presentations will be led by key individuals from these institutions who have been dealing with this issue for many years:

Anna Czyżewska, Director of the Water Protection and Climate Adaptation Department at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, and Piotr Czarnocki from the Ministry of Climate and Environment will present the criteria, application assessment, deadlines for announced competitions, and the evaluation process, particularly in the context of European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, and Environment, as well as other available programs.

Michał Oleszko from the National Centre for Research and Development will talk about the future perspective of PCP orders in the FENG program. Based on implemented projects such as “Home Retention Technologies” and “Future Sewage Treatment Plants,” he will discuss the challenges in the context of water management in cities and agriculture. There will be valuable information regarding application submission rules, financing structure, engaging in technical dialogue for companies, research institutions, and cities interested in participating as Strategic Partners in Projects, where future Technology Demonstrators will be built.

Jacek Zalewski, Director of the Project Implementation Department at RetencjaPL, will share practical insights about the application process and how to best prepare projects for co-financing. This part will include photos, examples, tips, and advice from an expert with over 20 years of experience in water management and implementing projects with external funding.

Monika Kszczot from Ecol-Unicon will present innovative solutions: Hydrozone Benefit and Bumerang Smart. She will share knowledge and experience on how to effectively and efficiently implement these solutions within the FEniKS program.

So, how can you prepare a good project to maximize points in the ranking and what should it include? How can you embark on the path of innovation in projects financed by the NCBiR?

We invite you to participate in the workshop and training with experts.
