Water Decade
On 3–4 March 2026, the 10th anniversary edition of the Stormwater Poland conference took place in Poznań. The event is one of the most important conferences in Poland dedicated to stormwater management, urban water retention, and climate change adaptation.
The conference brought together experts, representatives of cities, public administration, academia, and the private sector, who discussed the future of urban stormwater management. The programme featured presentations by internationally recognised authorities in the fields of blue-green infrastructure, Sponge City concepts, sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS), and modern data analysis and artificial intelligence tools applied to water management.
For a decade, Stormwater Poland has created a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between municipalities, designers, researchers, and companies implementing solutions that increase cities’ resilience to droughts, intense rainfall, and urban flooding.
