Hydromedia in Urban Space – Impact on Climate and the Surroundings

During the presentation, topics such as urban heat islands, the consequences of climate change, and the everyday challenges faced by residents of large metropolitan areas will be addressed.

Using Warsaw as a case study, the presentation will discuss how permeable pavements can have a tangible impact on improving residents’ quality of life and supporting ecosystem services related to urban planting. The role of Hydromedia solutions in reducing surface runoff and improving stormwater retention in urban areas will also be presented. In addition, practical applications and possible technical solutions will be showcased.
