Standards as divers od change – current developments and strategic implications

There are several different norm and standard requirements considering rainwater management. Some are still in preparation phase, some are well established, some are under rework and will be updated. Sometimes norms and standards retrospectively describe what in reality is already state of the art for a decent time, sometimes they set the bar for all upcoming product developments. Consequently, norms and standards offer a chance to be an important driver of change. This presentation will provide insights into the latest development of relevant norms and standards, display options and advantages and deduce strategic implications. The main focus will be German and Austrian norm developments and their international effects.
