Robert Gajda
National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management

Robert Gajda is a graduate of the Poznań University of Economics and Business, where he earned a degree in Business Management, and holds an MBA postgraduate degree from the University of Trade and Services in Poznań.

He is a manager with over 20 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for developing short- and long-term action plans, effective use of human resources, building and developing teams, performance management, negotiations, implementation of new solutions and technologies, as well as deployment of integrated IT systems.

He has extensive experience in developing and implementing business strategies in commercial law companies, along with in-depth knowledge of managing and delivering large-scale projects, including EU-funded initiatives focused on environmental protection.

In 2019, he was appointed President of the Management Board of the Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company (MZWiK Sp. z o.o.) in Koło. Under his leadership, one of the most advanced wastewater treatment facilities in Poland was constructed, operating in line with the Circular Economy model by converting all sewage sludge into agricultural fertilizer. He is also the initiator of a pilot program to combat hydrological drought in the Koło district, to be implemented in cooperation with the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, the State Water Holding Polish Waters, and the Pątnów–Adamów–Konin Power Plant Complex.
